The GDI Tutorials are videos that will help you learn to do everything from setting up your WordPress blog to checking your .ws email. Tutorials can be found here and are sorted by category with new videos added frequently, so check back often and give us suggestions!

Affiliates

The Affiliates section of your Member’s Area is where you will most of what you need for your day to day activities with GDI. You can check out the Leaderboards to see who is on it and who has been in the past, and check for your own name. Under Order Goodies you can place orders for things like GDI DVDs and business card and then track your order in the Track Orders section of Affiliates. Click on the Invite link when you want to enter or import emails and have GDI automatically send emails linking people to your site and GDI opportunity. Your Upline and Downline links allow you to see just that as well as their contact information if you need it. My Replicated Sites is where you can see all the replicated sites that GDI offers you to chose from and select as you wish if you are using a replicated site.Live Chat! to chat with your upline or downline or start a group chat through GDI. The Banners section showcases and shares the code for GDI’s banners that you can add to any site to link to your own sponsor page. Hit Logs tracks the number of visitors to your affiliate page and can be sorted week by week. The Commissions area is where you will find the status and history of your commissions breaking it down by amount, date and when the check was sent. Lastly, the GDI Forum link will take you to our forum where you can connect with other affiliates, post and read past posts. It can also be accessed at www. Talk.ws.

Domains

The Domains part of your Member’s Area is where you can decide to Build Your Site with SiteBuilder. Take the time create your .ws email account in the Set Up Your Email and then check out the Plugins area. In Plugins you can activate your WordPress blog, photo gallery, forum or Drupal.

Account Info

The Account Info area is important to keep up to date. It allows you to set preferences for payment and commissions as well as change passwords, your username and your language selection. Take a look into your Account Info and make sure everything is set up how you like it.

Documentation

The Documentation area is also very important to keep up to date. Here you can update and and change account information and see current invoices You can also see what documentation GDI might still need from you to ensure you can receive commissions as you earn them. Navigate to your Documentation area to make sure you’re properly set up!

Midweek Motivation: Measuring Success

How are you measuring your success with GDI? Here are a few ideas to get you going. You don’t have to measure success our way, think of a few of your own measurements and strive for that success!

Hit Logs

This is a crucial tool that is available to our Premium and basic users. Hit logs provide valuable information about the people visiting your site to help you better understand your traffic and your site’s effectiveness. While both Premium and basic users have access to hit logs from the Members Area, Premium users get much more detail with their hit logs. Check out your hit logs to see patterns in people visiting your site and how successful certain campaigns are. Then compare these numbers to your sign up numbers. If you’ve got a good amount of traffic and few sign ups, maybe there is something that needs to be changed on your site.

Dialogue

While sign ups are the direct way to make money with GDI, dialogue is one way to get you to these sign ups. What do we mean by dialogue? Specifically creating a dialogue a with anyone and very interested in GDI and network marketing. Have a good dialogue with your team members to ensure they are successful. Start conversations and answers questions of those people who aren’t on your team to establish yourself as a thought leader and dependable source for GDI information and experience. The more people you have dialogue with, the more touch points you have out and the better chance for sign ups down the line.

Sign Ups

Sign ups are the true sign of success with GDI. But try to go further with your sign ups and do a little research into why people are signing up and what made them join with you versus someone else. This information can help you streamline and target your marketing for your next signup.

Advertising Options for GDI Affiliates

newsupdateThere’s no need to pay for advertising with GDI to build your affiliate network. GDI offers marketing tools and services like the Marketing Kit, movies, replicated sites, and more. There’s also a number of free ways to share your business like social media and video sites. Still some affiliates do pay for advertising. To find out what form of advertising might work best for you, we’re sharing some of the options, free and paid, that many people use.

Outside of our banners and ads, these services are not included nor endorsed by GDI. You do not have to use any of these services, they are simply options if you would like to explore the idea of advertisements.

GDI Banners and Buttons

The banners offered in the SiteBuilder toolbox are a great addition to any website, whether you use SiteBuilder, WordPress or another service. The banners act as an advertisement for your GDI business. Each banner is customized to your account to ensure that when visitors click on a banner they will be redirected a to GDI promotional page with you as the sponsor, inviting them to learn more and submit their contact information. To add a banner to you SiteBuilder site navigate to your page editor then select Add on Page>Tools>Banners.

The buttons offered in the SiteBuilder tools can serve a variety of purposes. You can invite people to sign up right away with you as their sponsor, watch the movie or learn more with our different buttons offered. These buttons are powerful as they are bright and stand out from text, inviting people to click on learn more. Google AdWords

Google offers many options for ads, allowing you to choose how you pay, when and where your ads are displayed and more. According to Google:

  • AdWords, Google‘s online advertising program, lets you reach new customers and grow your business.
  • Choose where your ad appears, set a budget you’re comfortable with, and measure the impact of your ad.
  • There’s no minimum spending commitment. You can pause or stop anytime.

Facebook Advertising

If you’d like to take your social media efforts farther and share GDI beyond your network, Facebook ads may be a good option. Facebook says, “Ads on Facebook are unique. They’re shown to specific groups of highly engaged people on desktop and mobile. When your ads have great creative content and are well targeted, they get more likes, comments and shares. When someone takes any of these actions, their friends may see your ad, making it more powerful.” Facebook offers pay per click or impression payments much like Google AdWords.
