  4. Know who to ask for help. With GDI, you’re never too far form live help. Reach out to support@website.ws and 760-602-6000 for technical issues. For other issues, feel free to ask us and your fellow affiliates for help on our social media sites. Don’t forget to reach out to your upline, they should be your first line of help as a beginner.
  5. Head to the forums. GDI has an expansive and long running forum at www.Talk.ws Here you can post new questions and topics and search for answers or just browse old threads for ideas.
  6. Select your site. Part of what makes GDI so powerful is the .WS domain, so make sure you use it! When you first sign up with GDI you should decide what kind of site you would like. Do you want to take advantage of our replicated sites, SiteBuilder, WordPress or hosting? You can always adjust this setting, too. Log into your Members Area to either DNS of Replicated Sites to select the service that is right for you.
  7. Consider blogging. Blogging is a great way to help build your business and show visitors that you’re committed. GDI offers blogging platforms with SiteBuilder and WordPress and allows you to host your already created blog with us.
  8. Share your site. Your website is only as powerful as the people viewing it, so get it out there! Share your site and opportunity on social networks, email friends and ask others to share.
  9. Step outside of your comfort zone. Don’t attack your friends and family with the opportunity. You need to step a bit out of your comfort zone to build new networks and get connected with others. Reach out to old coworkers, local small business owners and entrepreneurs. They might be interested in GDI and they might put you in contact with people in their network.
  10. Set goals. Set beginner goals, achievable goals and reach goals. Keep assessing and moving your goals. If you do not set goals, how can you be sure when you have been successful?

5 Ways to Make the Most of Out of Social Networking

  1. Follow GDI on Facebook, Twitter, Google+, LinkedIn and Pinterest. We have profiles on all the big social sites and are always happy to chat with you, answer your questions and share news and advice.
  2. Decide which sites work for you and sign up. There’s a new social network popping up every single day, but that doesn’t mean you have to join. Make sure you’re on the “big” ones like the sites listed above and then decide if you’d like to join any other. Social networks can be very niche oriented and specific to interests, so join the ones you like and leave the rest behind.
  3. Follow and interact with thought leaders, industry leaders and successful networkers. Take the time to do searches on social networks to find out who is offering great content and is interacting with others. These are the people you stand to gain something from by tweeting and connecting with them.
  4. Use your links wisely. Include links to your website and GDI opportunity in your profiles and share them in posts. Be sure NOT to link blast, spam or just throw your link into any post or comment. Be sure to have thoughtful comments and posts and relevant links, this will drive traffic to your site and keep you out of trouble.
  5. Create content that is meant to be shared. One of the main perks of social media sites is how quickly and easily tweets, posts, or videos can go viral. For something to get shared again and again, it must be great content. Take the time to write smart posts, great videos and educational tweets. Once you have something you want to share, do so and ask your followers to share as well. Just asking can go a long way in social media.

The GDI Difference: The Inviter and 7 Minute Movie

This is the final part of a series explaining why GDI is different than the affiliate marketing companies you have heard of before. Share these blogs with anyone you know who might be skeptical or just wants to learn more.

Inviter

GDI always works hard to do the marketing for you. That’s why we offer the Inviter. The Inviter allows GDI members to input email address or their email account information so that customized emails can be sent out for you. The Inviter allows all members the chance to reach out to their current network and let them know about the opportunity with just a few clicks of the mouse.

These emails link to your WebSite, giving potential team members the chance to quickly and effectively learn about your opportunity. Unlike other affiliate programs that can overwhelm people with the number of products and what they do, GDI gives you the chance to share our product (your WebSite) and share just how it works simply.

7 Minute Movie

Other affiliate programs may give you a script to follow to as a way of “helping” you build your team. At GDI, we go farther than that. Our 7 Minute Movie has all the information someone interested in GDI needs to know. The movie can easily be added to your site or taken advantage with a replicated page. Best of all, you get to us the GDI created 7 Minute Movie and still get the lead. That’s marketing made easy.
