If you follow us on Twitter, you may have noticed that we often tweet inspirational quotes. Inspiration and a positive outlook are keys to creating your own successful outcome. Bart Dangerfield shared his thoughts on that idea below.
Here’s some of the greatest things I love about this industry of ours, network marketing:

- The personal growth and development that benefits every aspect of your life
It’s this last point I’ve been pondering a lot lately. It’s fascinating to me how many people run around with “stinkin’ thinkin’” coursing through their minds without realizing that their negative thoughts have a powerful impact on the world around them. They have absolutely no clue that what goes on between their ears actually creates and shapes their circumstances. How could it not? A positive attitude and outlook benefit every aspect of your life, including the way you conduct business.
So, for your “thought” of the day, I leave you with one of my favorite poems. Let’s just call it “food for thought.” See what kind of positive changes you can make to change your life and how you do business for the better.
Thoughts are Things

Thoughts are things. What a great poem. It holds the keys to how our lives develop, whether we know it or not.
One of my favorite books of all times and one of the most influential in my life has been Napoleon Hill’s Think and Grow Rich.
There is a passage that has stuck with me for many years and in times of doubt helps put me back on the right path. In it he says:
“Wishing will not bring riches. But desiring riches with a state of mind that becomes an obsession, then planning definite ways and means to acquire riches, and backing those plans with persistence which does not recognize failure, will bring riches.”
I think you hit it exactly when you say that “thoughts have a powerful impact on the world around them.”
When you maintain a positive mindset and direct your thoughts toward what you desire you are basically giving your mind a command. The mind, in response to this, will begin to change your actions and your ability to recognize opportunities. It will try to make what you think about come true.
Now, as Napoleon Hill said, thoughts alone cannot make you rich. But they will enable you to have the motivation necessary to take daily steps toward achieving your goals.
After all, failure is not one big catastrophe. It’s a series of small errors in judgment repeated every day. The opposite is true of success.
Heh, maybe this old saying says it best; “Garbage in, garbage out.”
